The hypnotist. The entertainer. The man with the glowsticks. If you bought something from a slightly unhinged bloke at a rave in Bristol or Sheffield or Glastonbury somewhere between 2002 and 2006 — that was Doc.

In 2002, Doc Strange was doing hypnosis shows and selling glowsticks at raves across the UK. He built a website. People bought stuff. Real people, real raves, real memories.

1994 — 2001
Temptation. Lakota. Bionic. Gatecrasher. Trinity. Tribe of Frog. Glastonbury. Global Gathering. Ibiza. Doc Strange was at all of it — not just attending, but performing, trading, living it.
2002
Glowgadgets.co.uk launches. Glowsticks, necklaces, UV gear — sold direct, shipped fast, priced fair. Nochex payments. Yahoo! Auctions. A one-man operation run from Bristol with a dial-up connection and a lot of hustle.
2002 — 2003
The Bunker. Scream. Godkitchen. Radio 1 events. A market stall at whatever venue would have him. The photos on this site? Most of them were taken at events where Doc was working — serving ravers, watching the show, being part of the thing he was selling into.
2004
Original GlowGadgets T-shirt designs. Hand-drawn. Never went to print. But they're still here — in the archive. Real heritage, not retro cosplay.
2025 — 2026
GlowGadgets.co.uk is back. The shop is gone. The archive, the gallery, the story — alive. Doc Strange is still at it, just on different stages.
This was circulating on the early internet. Doc kept a copy. It still holds.
You may hate us. You may dismiss us. You may misunderstand us. You may be unaware of our existence. We can only hope you do not care to judge us — because we would never judge you.
We are not criminals. We are not disillusioned. We are not drug addicts. We are not naive children.
We are one massive, global, tribal village that transcends man-made law,
physical geography, and time itself.
